When you have to do a large stop (breakfast) and so you disconnect the GPS, you should stop recording before switching it off. If not, the first recorded points will have a considering mistake next time you switch it on, especially on the point height.
Likewise, when switching it on after the stop, just before recording points, make sure that the satellite reception is good.
If you don't take this point into account, the track will not be trusty as well as the results.
Likewise, when you turn on the GPS after a stop, make sure that the satellites reception is correct before you start to record points.
If you don't take this into account, the track will regist a "step" that will falsify the registrations
